Safety Camera Site Data
The Government has requested that safety camera partnerships publish data relating to the static camera sites in their respective counties. The data includes the site name, site length, the speed limit, the date that the camera site was established and speed and casualty data relating to each site. With the exception of Bassenthwaite Lake on the A66, all of the sites above were established with the approval of the Department for Transport. Bassenthwaite Lake was created by the Highways Agency, an executive agency of the Department for Transport, and is operated by Cumbria Safety Cameras on its behalf.
