CONSTABULARY
This year’s inaugural event is being held at Carlisle Racecourse, which has excellent facilities both outdoors and indoors and has ample parking and is easily accessible from all parts of Cumbria. If successful it is anticipated that this will become an annual event. The event will take place between 10am and 5pm and all proceeds raised on the day are for charity, which on this occasion will be for the Cumbria Air Ambulance. Major attractions on the day are as follows:- Yamaha British Superbike
Rider John McGuinness and Team Plus others still to confirm. Admission on the day will be £2 per adult and £1 for children. No unaccompanied children allowed under the age of 16 years. Programmes will be available on the day for £1 and will include an entry form for a draw to win a Track Day at Donnington Park. There will also be a raffle with prizes including a VIP Day at Carlisle Races. It is hoped that the ‘Pride of Cumbria’ Air Ambulance will also be in attendance. Cumbria Police would like to acknowledge the backing of all the above sponsors, in particular the Safer Roads for Cumbria Partnership who have donated a substantial financial amount.
